After 1 1/2 years of videos about these flows Curiosity Rover's mission team finally shot the ChemCam laser at these. As we stated in earlier videos and articles at http://www.whatsupinthesky.com that hitting the bottom part of the flow with the laser would not contaminate the source and not break international treaties. This is one of the thickest I have seen and may have been frozen for a while since the Mars Weather Twitter feed does not have the temp by curiosity going above 32 in the last week as the previous 20 or so flows we have found did. Although I have found that the twitter feed vs the PDS REMS data can be way off in the past. We will see when the data comes out. Can't wait to see what spikes.
