Einstein's theory of relativity somehow credited the "gravity" crap with which the Flat Earth Model was attacked. In the absence of Relativity theory, gravity gets discredited.

The author of the wiki article in the link above added a cynical remark against Flat Earth while he was referencing the absence of the Relativity theory. Apparently he was not educated enough to realize that the absence of the Relativity theory credited the Flat Earth Model. Exercise caution when you read this article. I included it only because it does have some good information in it.
