I AM POSTING THIS COMMENTARY EXCHANGE BECAUSE SOME VIEWERS MAY HAVE THE SAME QUESTION. ONE VIEWER TOOK THE TIME TO PROVIDE THE BEST ANSWER TO THIS APPARENT QUESTIONING TROLL AND TO KNOCK HIM OUT WITH THE TYPE OF ANSWER THAT CREDITS / PROVES FLAT EARTH.

SOME MAY NOT BE ABLE TO SEE THE TROLL'S QUESTIONS/RESPONSES BECAUSE I BLOCKED HIM,... FOR ALL THE OBVIOUS REASONS, BUT THE COMMENTARY EXCHANGE NEEDS TO BE POSTED BECAUSE ITS CONTENT IS RELEVANT AND MATERIAL TO CREDITING AND PROVING THE FLAT EARTH MODEL, HENCE, TO DISCREDIT AND DISPROVE THE GLOBE EARTH MODEL..

I did not bother replying but a Flat Earther Viewer jumped in and gave this annoying Troll the type of answer he needed and deserved and in a detailed form

According to the HM Nautical Almanac Office, sunrise/sunset times approximately follow isochrones, or areas that are mapped with lines for earlier or later sunrise and sunset. See link below.

Some background (will you read this? LOL)
The sun revolves around the flat earth in a clockwise fashion, probably at the same height calculated at 4828km, but using different quasi-elliptical orbital paths (around the North Pole) during the summer and winter. This is why we have inverted seasons in North America and South America, in case this was your next question.

Notice how the time difference in sunrise is only 20m yet sunset is 40m, between London and Edinburgh. This already should make you wonder why the discrepancy in a globe model.

The sun moves in a relatively east to west direction, and it appears to rise and then set. Read up on perpective and vanishing points for more info. But seeing railroad tracks converge in the distance shows how our eyes shrink the same width in the distance. This is also true for contrails of a plane flying level at 10km height. It seems like the contrails drop into the horizon, even though the plane is flying level.

This is exactly what the sun does as well, as far what our eyes see is concerned.

So since Edinburgh is in an earlier summer isochrone than London and thus closer to the sun when it appears in the horizon for sunrise, it gets a head start to see the sun and see the sunset as well.

Summer isochrones bring the sun up high North latitude wise.

To see the sun depends on height. Here is the equation:

Distance in Km to horizon = 3.57 x √(height in meters)

So if a child looks out towards the horizon, the vanishing point distance to the horizon is approximately 3.57 km

At 10,000 m, a pilot sees the horizon at 357km, and his sunrise/sunset times would be very different. Already this clobbers the globe model if your IQ is high enough.

Now, since the sun is very high up, we see a relative consistency in the East to West path it takes.

Remember that East and West is relative to your position on Flat Earth. Only North is towards a fixed point (that varies according to Latitude). If you follow South from Punta Arenas, Chile, you will arrive to nearly the opposite side of the Antarctic Rim, than going due South from Wellington, New Zealand.
